DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and take a lead role in managing, optimizing, and scaling our development, deployment, and infrastructure processes. With your expertise, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage highly available and scalable infrastructure in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Automate deployment pipelines, configuration management, and system monitoring using modern tools and practices.
DevOps Engineer
Collaborate with development teams to define and implement CI/CD pipelines for faster, reliable, and efficient software delivery. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the reliability and security of infrastructure. Develop and maintain scripts, automation, and tooling to reduce manual processes. Manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi. Establish and enforce security best practices for cloud infrastructure, containers, and pipelines. Optimize system architecture and costs by designing efficient solutions and recommending improvements. Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem processes to improve systems. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the DevOps team’s technical growth.

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or system administration. Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Proficiency with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. Strong experience in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps. Solid scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash, or Go). Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog. Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, etc.). Knowledge of database management (SQL and NoSQL databases) and backup strategies. Proven ability to optimize performance, reduce downtime, and manage disaster recovery plans. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Kubernetes Certified Administrator). Experience with GitOps workflows and tools like ArgoCD or Flux. Knowledge of serverless architectures and microservices. Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001).
